About Us

A Voice for the Voiceless, a Hand for the Helpless

SaveThem India Foundation began in 2020, answering distress calls from people caught by cybercrime, and was registered in 2021. Today we work across education, healthcare, the environment, women's empowerment and social welfare — in Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad, and with a name on every parcel.

Who We Are

Help Where It Is Needed Most

SaveThem India Foundation works to transform lives through education, healthcare, the environment, women's empowerment and social welfare. Every programme begins with a family, never with a statistic.

We stay past the first delivery. Children are followed through school, patients through their treatment, and communities through the seasons that come after the vans have gone.

A voice for the voiceless, a hand for the helpless.

How We Got Here

Six Years of Purpose

From answering cybercrime distress calls in 2020 to education, health and community programmes across Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.

What drives us forward

Every life changed is proof that collective compassion, when organised, becomes unstoppable.
  1. 2020Where it started

    The first distress calls

In March we set up a forum to answer distress calls about cybercrime. By April we were in touch with MeitY, and through May the helpline grew to reach more people who had nowhere else to turn.

  2. 2021Officially registered

    Registered, and 10,000 calls answered

After the loan-app suicides we worked with Hyderabad Police on a crackdown. In April the Foundation was officially registered. By mid-year we had answered more than 10,000 calls, partnered with media houses, worked with NBFCs on fraud prevention, filed a petition before the Supreme Court, and connected with police in Maharashtra, Telangana, Odisha and Tamil Nadu.

  3. 2022Investigations

    Following the fraud

Investigations into fake investment schemes, dating-app scams and honey-trapping. With Technisant we investigated and reported the TNPDPS data leak and proposed a framework for it, and in December more than 12 investigators across cities looked into virtual sex rackets.

  4. 2023Awareness

    Taking it to the public

A large cybercrime awareness drive with government bodies — online fraud, digital safety, financial scams.

  5. 2024New programmes

    LearnUp, Health+ and GreenVibe

Education for underprivileged children, healthcare support, and tree planting began in March. Operations started in Chennai in April, the Indian Air Force recognised our work in June, and in December we reached Bengaluru and Hyderabad.

  6. 2025Community

    Out where people are

Outreach moved into malls and retail outlets — more places to meet supporters and raise awareness.

  7. 2026Pan-city

    Across the city

By May, pan-city coverage across key malls and commercial centres.

How Giving Works Here

What Happens to a Rupee

Most giving disappears into a general fund. Here it buys a specific thing, for a specific person, on a specific day — and you are told which.

  1. You buy a thing, not an amount

Fifty meals at ₹30, not “a donation”. The price belongs to the foundation and the total is worked out here, so you know exactly what your money turns into before you give it.

  2. Your name goes on it

The name you ask for is printed on the label the family is handed, along with the occasion if there is one. A birthday, a memory, a thank you — it travels with the parcel.

  3. You see it reach somebody

Where a cause carries a photograph, every parcel is photographed as it is served and sent back to you. Not a sample, and not a stock picture — yours.

  4. The paperwork follows you

Leave a PAN and the 80G receipt comes to you on WhatsApp. Nothing to chase, and nothing to ask twice for.
